Pamela Thomas

Pamela Thomas has a diverse background with experience in various industries. Pamela is currently working at Georgia's Own Credit Union as the SVP of Retail Growth & Innovation, where they started in July 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions as the VP of Program Management & Business Process Improvement and the Director of Portfolio & Project Management at the same company.

Before joining Georgia's Own Credit Union, Pamela worked at Telular, a business unit of AMETEK, Inc., from 2015 to 2020. During their time at Telular, they served as the Director of Program Management, Program/Project Manager, and Engineer Project Coordinator.

Prior to Telular, Pamela worked at Mölnlycke Health Care from 2011 to 2014, where they held roles as a Project Coordinator and Contract Administrator. Pamela'searliest work experience can be traced back to CenterStage II Dancewear, where they worked as a Store Manager/Buyer from 2007 to 2009.

Pamela Thomas's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, which they completed from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Georgia State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their academic degrees, Pamela has acquired several certifications. In 2017, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2023, they completed a course called "The CFO: Becoming a Strategic Partner" from Wharton Executive Education.
