Pamela Thomas has a diverse background with experience in various industries. Pamela is currently working at Georgia's Own Credit Union as the SVP of Retail Growth & Innovation, where they started in July 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions as the VP of Program Management & Business Process Improvement and the Director of Portfolio & Project Management at the same company.

Pamela Thomas's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, which they completed from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Georgia State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011.

In 2017, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2023, they completed a course called "The CFO: Becoming a Strategic Partner" from Wharton Executive Education.
