Carmine Wainman's work experience begins in 2007 as a Team Leader at Waitrose, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined RSK Group plc as a Graduate Geoscientist/Petrographer. From 2013 to 2013, Carmine worked as a Geology Intern at Woodside Energy. In 2020, they took on the role of Field Technician at Zonge Engineering & Research Organization (Aust) Pty Ltd. At the same time, they also worked as a Customer Service Consultant at Westpac. Carmine began their employment at the University of Adelaide in 2014, where they initially served as a Technical Assistant until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Geoscience. In 2020, Carmine became a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide and worked there until 2021. Currently, they are a Basin Analyst at Geoscience Australia, a position they started in November 2021.
Carmine Wainman completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at the University of Adelaide from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an MSci Geology degree from the University of Southampton from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Carmine Wainman obtained a certification in Provide First Aid (1-Day Course) from CBD College in April 2021.
