Justy Siwabessy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career in 1990 as a Lecturer at Universitas Pattimura and held this position until 2006. In 2000, they worked as an Acoustic Data Analyst at CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research for a short period of time. From 2002 to 2008, Justy Siwabessy served as a Research Fellow, followed by an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University. In 2008, they joined Geoscience Australia as a Marine Acoustic Scientist. Additionally, Justy Siwabessy has been a Church member at Westminster Presbyterian Church since 1992.
Justy Siwabessy completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics - Marine Acoustics from Curtin University, from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from UNSW, from 1992 to 1995. Justy began their education journey by earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from UNIVERSITAS PATTIMURA, from 1983 to 1988.
