Senior Spatial Analyst at Geoscience Australia

Lauren Power has a diverse work experience in the field of geoscience and GIS. Lauren began their career in 2006 as a GIS Cartographer at BAE Systems Australia, where they worked until 2007. In July 2007, they joined Geoscience Australia as a Senior Spatial Analyst, a role in which they are currently employed. In 2010, Lauren worked as a GIS Planning Officer at Australian Volunteers for International Development for a year. In 2013, they had an internship at UNFCCC for a period of three months. Overall, Lauren has gained valuable experience in spatial analysis and GIS planning throughout their career.

Lauren Power completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Geomatics at RMIT University from 2000 to 2005. Lauren later pursued a Master's degree in Climate Change from The Australian National University, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
