Maree Wilson GAICD possesses extensive experience in the geospatial and defense sectors, currently serving as the Chief of Place and Communities Division at Geoscience Australia. Previous roles include Branch Head positions in the Digital Earth and National Earth and Marine Observations branches, as well as serving as an Executive Director and Director at the Department of Defence. Maree's early career at Geoscience Australia involved project leadership in Location Information Management Reform and project management for the Murray-Darling Basin Elevation Project. Additionally, Maree has contributed as a volunteer and supervisor at Mapping and Planning Support (MAPS) and the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI).
