Rachel Bulloch has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Rachel started their career as an archaeologist at Scarp Archaeology in 2012 and continued in the same role until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Gallery Host at the National Archives of Australia and as an Information Assistant at the Australian War Memorial. In 2013, Rachel joined BHP Billiton Iron Ore as a Graduate Heritage Advisor and worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they returned to Scarp Archaeology as an Archaeologist. Rachel then worked as a Visiting Research Associate at the National Museums of Kenya from 2016 to 2019. Rachel joined the Australian War Memorial again in 2019 as a Visitor Services Officer and continued in that role until 2022. Currently, Rachel is working at Geoscience Australia as a Land Access and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator - Data Driven Discoveries, and will soon transition into the role of Access Engagement Support Officer in 2023.
Rachel Bulloch obtained a Graduate Diploma (Advanced) in Arts with a specialization in Archaeology from The University of Western Australia in the year 2011. Prior to that, in 2005, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Broadcasting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, focusing on Broadcasting.
