Mr. James L. Mandel, also known as Jim, serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Multiband EWS, Inc. Mr. Mandel has been Chief Executive Officer and President of OrangeHook, Inc. since December 1, 2016. Mr. Mandel serves as Chief Executive Officer at Multiband Field Services, Inc. and Agilivant, LLC. He serves as President of Multiband Mdu Incorporated. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nuvel Holdings, Inc. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Multiband Corporation (formerly Vicom Inc.), a full service telecommunications company since October 1, 1998.
He was a co-founder of Call 4 Wireless, LLC, a telecommunications company specializing in wireless communications and served as its Interim Chief Executive Officer from December 1996 to December 1997. His career before founding Call 4 Wireless LLC includes a number of senior executive roles managing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of large systems including the development of casino/hotel operations for Grand Casinos, Inc. From October 1991 to February 1997, he served as a Vice President of Systems for Grand Casinos, Inc. He also managed the systems development of Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia, Minnesota; Grand Casino Hinckley in Hinckley, Minnesota; and six other Casinos nationwide. He served as the Chairman of CorVu Corporation (formerly, Minnesota American, Inc.) since August 1, 2003. From January 1997 to September 1998, he served as the Chairman of Call 4 Wireless LLC. He has been a Director of NewMarket Technology Inc., since September 5, 2006 and Multiband Corporation since October 1, 1998.
He has been a Director of OrangeHook, Inc. since July 30, 2015. He served as a Director of Nuvel Holdings, Inc. since July 30, 2015. He served as an Independent Director of CorVu Corporation since 1987. Mr. Mandel serves as a Director of GeoSpan Corporation, a geospatial imaging company and is a director of the Independent Multi-Family Communications Council, a national trade group for the private cable industry. He serves as a Trustee of the Boys and Girls Club of Minneapolis. He served as a Director of Western Capital Resources, Inc. from December 31, 2007 to May 7, 2010. He served as a Director of Minnesota American since 1987 and continued working at CorVu Corp. that survived the merger of Private CorVu into Minnesota American, Inc. in January 2000. He served as a Director of Call 4 Wireless LLC from December 1996 to October 1998. He served as a Director of Cash Systems Inc.
Mr. Mandel holds Bachelor of Science from the Leed's School of Business Administration at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
