Katy Johnson

Katy Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and intelligence analysis. As a Technical Writer at GEOST since August 2021, Katy leads the editing and production of proposals for the business development team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate GEOST's messaging. Prior to this role, Katy served in the US Air Force Reserve as an Intelligence Officer, where responsibilities included leading the analysis and production of intelligence for airlift missions and providing rapid global updates to senior staff at the Pentagon. Katy also held positions in the United States Air Force, achieving a GS-13 rank as an Intelligence Specialist focused on joint intelligence software integration and operational requirements. Educational background includes a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Graduate Certificate in International Security Studies from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University, among other certifications.
