Lisa Burgess

Lisa Burgess is a seasoned geologist currently employed at Geosyntec Consultants since May 2021, where Lisa has advanced through various professional titles including Senior Staff Professional and Staff Professional. Prior to this role, Lisa served as Scientist 3 at Apex Companies, LLC from July 2019 to May 2021 and operated as a self-employed consultant and student from June 2017 to May 2019. Lisa's diverse career also includes extensive experience at Nexeo Solutions from November 2004 to June 2017 in several capacities, including Sales Account Manager, Pricing Supervisor, Billing Supervisor, and Billing Specialist. Lisa began a foundational career as an Aircraft Fuel Systems Mechanic in the United States Air Force from May 1996 to May 2000. Academically, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Colorado State University and an Associate of Science from Front Range Community College, with additional studies completed at The Ohio State University.
