Mark Thomas, P.E., P.G. has a diverse work experience in the engineering and geotechnical field. Mark started their career as a CMET Field and Lab Technician at Texas Testing Laboratories in 1986. Mark then worked as a Staff Engineering Geologist at Mason-Johnston & Assoc / Henley-Johnston & Assoc from 1989 to 1994. After that, they joined ATL Laboratories as a Geotechnical & CMT Lab Supervisor from 1994 to 1997. Mark continued their career as a Senior Engineering Geologist at Henley-Johnston & Associates, Inc. from 1997 to 2004. Mark then joined Fugro where they worked as a Senior Engineering Geologist & Geotechnical Lab Manager from 2004 to 2008. Mark subsequently joined Parsons Brinckerhoff in the USA (now WSP USA) as a Supervising Engineer (Geotechnical) from 2008 to 2012. Currently, they are the Principal and Vice President of Engineering at D&S Engineering Labs, LLC. since 2012.

Mark Thomas, P.E., P.G. earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Mark later completed their Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
