Nesrin Basoz

Ms. Basoz is the Chief Underwriting Officer of GeoVera. She joined GeoVera in 2001 and was the SVP, UW/Analytics from 2008 to 2016.

She has nearly 25 years of experience in product development, applying data and business analytics to underwriting, catastrophe risk, and portfolio management.

Ms. Basoz received her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, specializing in earthquake engineering and risk management. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from METU Ankara, Turkey.
