Karen Smith

Karen Smith has over 25 years of work experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Karen started their career at Oxford Health Plans in 1995, where they held various roles including Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Physician Reimbursement Specialist, Grievance Associate, and Paralegal. In 2004, they joined United Healthcare as a Sr. Legal Services Specialist and remained in that role until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Compliance Manager at Gerber Life Insurance Company.

Karen Smith completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1992. Karen then pursued Paralegal Studies at SUNY Westchester Community College from 2001 to 2003.
