Michele Schlafer

Michele Schlafer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Vice President of Independent Distribution Operations at Gerber Life Insurance Company since January 2014. Michele has previously held roles such as Director of Agency Operations and Manager of Licensing & Contracting and Commissions within the same company. Prior to Gerber Life, Michele worked at CNO Financial Group as Contracting Manager from August 1996 to December 2013 and began a career in management at Hoosier Cash and Carry from June 1993 to August 1996. Michele holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Indiana University East, earned between 1989 and 1991.
