Mike Simon

Mike Simon is the current Digital Practice Lead at Gerent, and they have also previously worked with Garden State Distilling, Lanetix, DefinedLogic, and Yusen Logistics (Americas), Inc. In their role at Yusen Logistics (Americas), Inc., they served as the Senior Vice President and CIO (Americas), responsible for IT strategy and IT delivery for all divisions of the company. Prior to that, they were with IBM Global Services as the Director of Strategic Outsourcing for North America's travel and transportation industry. There, they were responsible for business development covering freight logistics, hospitality, airlines, and travel-related services. Simon began their career in 1985 as Business Intelligence & Collaboration with Sea-Land before becoming President of Americas Systems, Inc (ASI) in 1990.

Mike Simon's educational career includes a BS/CS from Old Dominion University in Applications Engineering, Mathematics, and Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Mike also has a certification from the American Sailing Association in ASA 101-104 Bareboat Charter Certificate. Additionally, they are certified by GoLeanSixSigma.com in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) and by Boston University Questrom School of Business in QD503x: Product Management with Lean, Agile and System Design Thinking.
