Paul van Den Wijngaard

Paul van den Wijngaard is an accomplished professional in the field of agricultural sciences, currently serving as the Head of R&D EU at Germains Seed Technology since February 2024. Prior to this role, Paul held various leadership positions, including Managing Director at Aardevo and General Manager Hybrid Potato at KWS Group, demonstrating extensive experience in management and development within the seed industry. Paul also contributed as the Head of the Department of Infection Biology at the Central Veterinary Institute, WUR, and as the Global Seed Physiology and Enhancement Lead at Syngenta Seeds. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Plant Physiology from Wageningen University & Research and an MSc in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
