Steffen Schacher

Steffen Schacher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital assets, innovation, and business development. Currently serving as the Digital Assets Lead at GFT Group, Steffen spearheads the Universal Digital Payments Network to enhance financial inclusion through interoperable payment infrastructures for digital currencies. Additionally, Steffen holds leadership positions such as Lead & Expert Mentor at German Accelerator Southeast Asia and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at THE KOHO Hotels. Previous roles include Director at Capgemini's Applied Innovation Exchange, Co-Founder at Banbayu, and Managing Director at Lisit Pte Ltd, along with significant contributions to Siemens and Waterculture Pte Ltd. Steffen holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Siemens Technik Akademie Erlangen.
