Dan Ehninger is a Senior Research Group Leader at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE), a position held since February 2010, following tenure as a Research Group Leader on a tenure-track basis. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UCLA from 2004 to 2009, a Neurology Residency at Charité for a brief period in 2004, and serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Max Delbrück Center from March 2001 to January 2004. Dan Ehninger holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Neuroscience from the Max Delbrück Center and has completed studies at prestigious institutions including Harvard Medical School, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, UCL, and Charité, where Dan Ehninger earned a State Examination and License to Practice Medicine. Additionally, Dan Ehninger obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Michigan - School of Information.
