Director Of AI In Medical Imaging at German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE)

Martin Reuter has a diverse work experience in the field of neuroscience and medical imaging. Martin currently holds the position of Director of AI in Medical Imaging at the DZNE - German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases since December 2016. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurology at Harvard Medical School from July 2015. Before joining Harvard, they were an Assistant in Neuroscience in the Department of Radiology and Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital from August 2008 to December 2009. Martin Reuter also gained experience during their time at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Fellow from August 2006 to August 2008, and as a Research Affiliate.

Martin Reuter completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with a Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, which they earned from 1995 to 2001. Martin later pursued higher education at the same university and earned a Doctor rer. nat degree (~Ph.D) in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2001 to 2006. Subsequently, Reuter further expanded their knowledge and skills by joining the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2006 to 2008.
