Michael Teskey

Michael Teskey is an accomplished professional in advancement and development, currently serving as the Director of Advancement at German International School Portland since August 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Director of Development at the American School of Warsaw from May 2022 to June 2024, and served as Director of Communications & Advancement at the American International School of Mozambique from August 2018 to June 2022, where significant improvements in communications, marketing, fundraising, and admissions were achieved. Michael's extensive experience also includes roles at Reed College as Director of Alumni & Parent Relations, Lewis & Clark College as Executive Director of Alumni & Community Relations, and at CommunityFirst! Partners as President. Early career experience involved positions at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Reed Elsevier, focusing on program management and product sales, respectively. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and German from Lewis & Clark College and has pursued further studies at Northeastern University.
