Rosemarie Wachsmuth is an experienced conservator with a focus on preventive conservation and object management. Currently serving as a Präventiv Konservatorin at Deutsches Museum since March 2018, Rosemarie has previously worked as a Restauratorin at both Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleißheim and Deutsches Museum from 2015 to 2018. Earlier experience includes roles as Markenbotschafterin und Besucherbegleiterin at Hofer Group and a Temporary Collections Assistant at the Museum of Science & Industry, where key tasks involved developing an integrated pest management program and handling hazardous materials. Rosemarie's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Conservation of Historic Objects and a Graduate Diploma in Conservation Studies from the University of Lincoln, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History of Art with Museum Studies from the University of Leeds.
