Simon Besnard

Simon Besnard is a researcher in data science and global land monitoring at the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre GFZ since October 2022. Previously, Simon served as a Senior Climate Data Scientist at South Pole, where involvement in integrating artificial intelligence into digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) processes was pivotal.
