Mohamed Salem

Mohamed Salem is a highly experienced academic and researcher, currently serving as the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and a Full Professor at the Faculty of Information Engineering and Technology at The German University in Cairo since June 2010. Roles also include a Full Professor position at the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt and a Visiting Professor at Technische Universität Darmstadt. His expertise encompasses the design of biomedical devices, low-power AES on FPGA for IoT devices, and advanced CAD tools for 3D Network-on-Chip architectures. Mohamed Salem's background includes leadership in the EGYPTSAT-1 project with the National Space Agency of Ukraine and experience as a Software/Hardware Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Engineering & Technology, an MBA, and a Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from renowned institutions.
