Felix Guntermann

Felix Guntermann is a seasoned professional in development geography and international trade, currently serving as Project Lead Africa at Germany Trade & Invest since January 2020, with previous roles including Manager Africa/Middle East and Representator at the Cairo Office. Felix has garnered experience at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as a Stage at the Regional Department Subsahara Africa and has held research positions at the University of Bonn in both Development Geography and Urban Geography. Additional experience includes an affiliation with Addis Ababa University, administration at ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability, and internships at Kakute Projects, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Cologne Bonn Airport. Felix holds a Ph.D. in Geography from The University of Bonn and a Diplom in Geography from the same institution, alongside an Auslandssemester from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
