Souria Dougherty

Souria Dougherty, MBA, has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President and Executive Director of Clinical Science at Geron Corporation since April 2019. Prior to this role, Souria held the position of Director of Clinical Science at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, specializing in oncology for hematologic malignancies from August 2015 to March 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Clinical Development Manager at GSK, where responsibilities included oncology and liver disease from January 2007 to July 2015, and Project Manager at Genmab from January 2006 to August 2007. Souria began a career in clinical research as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at Covance Periapproval Services Inc. from June 2001 to January 2006. Souria holds a Bachelor of Science in Comprehensive Science and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University.
