Dr. Matthias Wrobel

Dr. Matthias Wrobel serves as the Head of Plant Quality at Gerresheimer since February 2018, overseeing quality at the Medical Systems Production Site in Pfreimd. Prior experience includes leadership roles at AbbVie as the Head of Quality Control and Manager of Stability Drug Products, as well as being a team lead for various quality control labs. Dr. Wrobel's career began with a postdoctoral position in quality control at Explicat Pharma GmbH and a CMC Project Manager role at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Medical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, a Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, with additional studies at the University of Oxford and the University of Kansas.
