Nelly Chepkirui

Nelly Chepkirui has worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Gertrude's Children's Hospital since June 2023. Before that, they held the position of Medical Laboratory In charge at Church Army Africa from March 2021 to June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Maryland Global Initiative Corporation from March 2019 to February 2021. Nelly also has experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Walter Reed Institute Of Rsrch from September 2017 to February 2018.

Nelly Chepkirui completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Lab Science and Technology at the University of Nairobi from 2012 to 2018. Nelly'sfield of study during this time was lab science. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, starting from 2022. Nelly also holds several additional certifications including membership in the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM), a Good Clinical Laboratory Practice certification from The Global Health Network, an America Society of Microbiology certification from the America Society of Microbiology, and a KMLTTB license.
