James Rothwell has a diverse work experience, starting with their roles at Boise State University as an Assistant Resident Director from 2005 to 2006. James then worked at Hapo Community Credit Union as a Consumer Loan Underwriter from 2011 to 2016. Following that, they joined Gesa Credit Union, where they held various positions including Credit Risk Management Specialist from 2016 to 2019, Credit Risk Manager from 2019 to 2021, AVP Portfolio Management & Special Assets from 2021 to 2023, and currently holds the position of VP of Credit Administration.
James Rothwell obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Networking and Telecommunications from Boise State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Later, in 2019, they earned the certification of Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) from the Credit Union National Association. James is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance at Washington State University, a program they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
