Paul Belanger

Paul Belanger is an accomplished R&D Director for North America at Gestamp, with a focus on Body and Chassis engineering. Since August 2015, Paul has led product development efforts tailored to the NAFTA market, overseeing crash management design, product validation, and ensuring successful transitions to Gestamp's divisions. Paul's extensive career includes key roles at General Motors, where responsibilities ranged from Global Process Manager to Engineering Group Manager, focusing on manufacturing process controls and Design for Manufacturability support. Prior experience at Chrysler Group LLC involved senior management in body engineering, while earlier positions at National Steel Corporation and Severstal NA emphasized automotive product development and metallurgical support. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan State University.
