Santiago Díaz Montalvo

Santiago Díaz Montalvo is a Big Data expert and business analyst with extensive experience in advanced analytics within the automotive industry. Since January 2017 at Gestamp Automotive, Santiago has focused on ingesting unstructured data into a Data Lake, orchestrating ETL processes with Azure Data Factory, and integrating socioeconomic data to enhance predictive models. In previous roles, Santiago contributed as a project manager for Industry 4.0 initiatives, optimizing maintenance and logistics solutions for the automotive supply chain. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Big Data and Business Analytics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Solent University. Additional research experience in additive manufacturing techniques was gained during a project at Altertek Ltd/Southampton Solent University.
