After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne, Luc Maurer worked for nearly 10 years with the trust company Ernst & Young in the field of business consulting.
In the course of his employment, Luc obtained a Masters in IT Management and in 2001 founded the IT services company Camptocamp SA, of which he is CEO and member of the Board of Directors. Composed of Open Source specialists, Camptocamp is an innovative company in the integration of cartographic software, Odoo business management software and cloud infrastructure.
Passionate about local politics, he first sat in the legislature of the city of Morges and its village. He then joined the executive of his municipality of which he has been its Syndic for about 10 years. Luc is involved in regional projects. In this regard, since 2014 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of “ Center Aquatique Région Morges SA ”, a company in public hands, responsible for designing and building an aquatic center for the Morges region.
