Hetel Bhakta has a strong background in optometry, starting their career as a Resident at Aran Eye Associates in 2008. Hetel then served as an Optometrist at South Florida Eye Associates from 2009 to 2010 and as an Interim Faculty member at Nova Southeastern University from 2009 to 2010. Bhakta further expanded their expertise as part of the Ophthalmology Department at Boston Medical Center from 2005 to 2006. In 2011, they established their own practice, Planet Vision EyeCare, where they serve as the Owner and Optometrist, focusing on providing quality eye care. Bhakta also holds the position of President at Palm Beach County Optometric Association since 2022. Currently, they are a New Business Developer at Get Healthy USA.
Hetel Bhakta attended The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Optometry. Hetel then went on to study at the New England College of Optometry from 2006 to 2008, earning a Doctor of Optometry degree.
