Waqar Ali

Founder at Get Inclusive

Waqar Ali is the founder of Get Inclusive, a company that specializes in providing technology solutions for businesses to foster inclusion and diversity. Prior to GetInclusive, Waqar worked as a consultant for Bain & Company from October 2007 to October 2010, where they worked on private equity due diligence projects for targets in professional services, healthcare, and oil & gas. Waqar also proposed an organizational redesign for a top 10 insurance company and developed an evaluation methodology for Phase II+ Oncology and supportive care compounds.

From April 1999 to August 2005, Waqar worked as a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they consulted on operations for financial services and energy companies. Waqar also led the FpML development team and was co-chair of the FpML standards committee with JP Morgan. In 2010, they left PricewaterhouseCoopers to join Management Consulting as their new business strategy lead. Waqar stayed with the company until December 2013 before leaving to start GetInclusive.

Waqar Ali has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a MS in Operations Research - Financial Engineering from Columbia University, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
