Ken Sparks has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Ken started their career as a Level 2 Helpdesk at St. Cloud State University in 2011 and then worked as a Tier II Helpdesk Analyst at Marco Technologies for a few months in 2013. Following that, from 2013 to 2018, Ken served as a Technical Specialist at Nova Flex LED, Inc., where they managed IT needs for a growing start-up, including provisioning workstations, configuring cloud services, upgrading networking capabilities, and training employees on various business software. Ken then joined St. Cloud Metro Bus in 2016 as an IT & Data Specialist. In this role, they managed physical and virtual servers, handled software upgrades, provided IT support for cellular and radio communications, and overhauled the wireless network to improve video offload quality. In 2019, Ken became a Field Services Engineer at Eze Castle Integration, where they continued their work in IT infrastructure support. Currently, Ken is working as a Solutions Architect at Getac Video Solutions, starting in November 2021.

Ken Sparks earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from St. Cloud State University - Herberger Business School. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including Business Ethics, Business Etiquette: Phone, Email, and Text, Customer Service: Serving Internal Customers, Holding Yourself Accountable, and How to Use LinkedIn Learning. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in May 2019.
