Tarek Elghawaby

Tarek Elghawaby has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tarek is currently working as a Product Manager at GetAccept since February 2021. Prior to this, they formed a technology firm called Oji in 2016, where they served as a Partner. Their responsibilities included researching and developing internal projects, consulting for selected clients, and focusing on civic engagement, sustainable tourism, and brand development for retail.

Tarek also worked at Telepin from 2018 to 2021, initially as a Sr. Product Specialist and later as a Product Manager. In these roles, they managed and specialized in product development. Before that, they joined Telepin Software in 2010 and held various positions, including Solution Architect & Technical Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, and Field Application Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and delivering Mobile Financial Service solutions, gathering business and technical requirements from customers, and contributing to pre-sales activities.

Tarek's early work experience includes a role as a System Technician at Sun Life Financial from 2007 to 2009.

Tarek Elghawaby completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical field of study at Carleton University from 2004 to 2009. In addition, they obtained certifications in Design Sprint Masterclass from AJ&Smart in August 2020 and in Oxford Fintech Program from the University of Oxford in March 2020.
