Monica Citi (She/Her)

Localization Manager at Circuit

I started my professional career in Milan. After a couple of years I decided to move abroad and since then I have lived in the UK (Sheffield), Germany (Frankfurt) and the Netherlands (Maastricht, Amsterdam). During these 20+ years I have worked in the translation and localization industry both on the client and vendor side. In the beginning I really just wanted to be a translator and have enjoyed working both as a freelancer and in in-house departments. After a few years, though, other aspects of my job started to sparkle an interest and I decided to take on more organizational roles as project manager, quality manager and program manager. I have lots of experience in the digital space helping start-ups and established companies localize and internationalize their products.

I consider myself an all-round localization professional with a particular knack for creating and streamlining localization processes, translation technologies and localization quality management.

We're a fully remote, independent, profitable company made up of experienced people who think about problems from a customer-first perspective. We don't blindly follow accepted practices, but we do come up with pragmatic solutions. When we started Circuit five years ago, we saw an issue with last-mile delivery - it was too complicated and stressful for drivers. Circuit started on a mission to change that – we chose to develop SaaS products that put the user first. Join our team and get the excitement of a start-up without the binds of bureaucracy. We would love to meet you if you're curious, pragmatic, honest, and driven!
