Tomer Nahshon has been working in the field of algorithm development since 2006. Tomer began their career in the Israeli Air Force as a Major on reserve. In 2016, they joined Q Core Medical Ltd. as an R&D team member, where they conducted algorithm verification and validation, designed tests for pump software, designed experiments for medical standards compatibility, executed verification and validation testing for pumps mechanism, and conducted design reviews. In 2018, they joined Donisi Health as an Algorithm Developer for ML/DL, where they designed shallow and deep models for biomedical signals inference, mainly based on CNN Deep networks and autoencoders as well as feature-based classical algorithms. In 2019, they joined Deep Voice as an Algorithm Developer, and in 2021 they joined Grin as a Computer Vision Algorithm Developer.
Tomer Nahshon has a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, which they are currently pursuing. Tomer previously obtained a B. Sc in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Signal and Image Processing from Tel Aviv University in 2017. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Coursera and Udacity, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning by Google with TensorFlow. Tomer also obtained four certifications from Coursera in 2018, namely Probabilistic Graphical Models 1: Representation, Probabilistic Graphical Models 2: Inference, and Probabilistic Graphical Models 3: Learning.
