Head of Operations | Makati, The Philippines 

Schedule: Night shift - 2pm-11pm UK time (9pm-6am PH time)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in Makati, Philippines. You will lead a fast-growing team of customer support, operations, and accounting specialists, ensuring operational excellence and world-class customer support. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Accountable for ensuring that the Philippine operations team meets or exceeds requirements and service levels. 
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators and take action (where applicable) to improve performance levels as required.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Customer Experience: Champion a customer-first mindset across the organisation, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and effectiveness.
  • Employee Experience: Collaborate with GetGround’s people team in London to build an employee experience locally that aligns closely with our company values.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Accounting Operations Manager (also Philippines-based) and our team in the UK to align on business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and cost efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing our operations. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a customer-focused industry
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and delivering targets
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team 
  • The ability to translate business goals into actionable plans
