Mari Zakaryan has had a diverse range of work experience. Mari began their career as a Customer Support & Operations Assistant at Abramo Deutschland GmbH in 2016. Mari then moved on to an Operations Intern role at Gummi-Welz Lastik Izolasyo Ürünleri San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Project Manager at we.CONECT Global Leaders GmbH. From 2019 to 2020, they served as an Operations Manager at Carrier Community. Most recently, they were a Team Lead Operations at everphone GmbH from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Central Operations Manager at CYCLE (formerly GetHenry) starting in June 2022.

Mari Zakaryan earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from IU International University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Russian - Armenian University. Additionally, Mari Zakaryan holds two additional certifications: a Goethe-Zertifikat B2 from Goethe-Institut e.V. obtained in November 2022, and an IELTS certification from the British Council IELTS (International English Language Testing System) obtained in November 2015.
