Angel Alagao

Angel Alagao has been working in the technology industry since 2012. In that time, they have held various roles, starting with a Copy and Print Professional at STAPLES Canada. During this time, they developed custom graphic designs and layouts for businesses and individual clients, using Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Applications, communicated effectively within a team environment, and maintained quality assurance for all finished products.

In 2015, Angel Alagao took on the role of Third Key Visual at Ardene, where they created and overlooked design updates for store layouts and displays.

In 2017, Angel Alagao attended HackerYou College of Technology, a bootcamp for web development. That same year, they began working at Naborly as a Software Engineer, where they worked closely with internal teams to understand the needs for customers and quickly iterate and build features on Naborly’s web application across the entire technical stack, from database all the way to clients, as well as UI/UX design.

In 2018, Angel Alagao became Team Lead and Developer at Nascent.

Finally, in 2021, Angel Alagao became a Senior Front End Developer at Maple (getmaple.ca).

Angel Alagao has a diverse educational background. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry, Pre-Medicine and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Biochemistry, Pre-Medicine from The University of Winnipeg. From 2016 to 2017, they completed a Web Development degree from HackerYou College of Technology, as well as a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp.
