Safana Vellani

Safana Vellani has worked in the finance industry since 2013. Safana began their career at CIBC Capital Markets as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in 2013. Safana then held the roles of Investment Banking Analyst and Investment Banking Associate from 2014-2018. In 2018, they moved to Maple (getmaple.ca) as a Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives. Safana then progressed to Senior Manager, B2B Strategy & Operations before taking on their current role as Director, B2B Strategy & Operations.

Safana Vellani began their educational journey at York House School from 1997 to 2010 where they served as Community Service Co-Captain. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Western University and studied Management and Organizational Studies. Safana then went on to complete an Honours Business Administration (HBA) at Ivey Business School at Western University from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Safana has obtained a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) from CSI Global.
