Hemant Misra

Hemant Misra is an accomplished professional in the field of data science and applied research, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Data Science at Simpl. Prior to this role, Hemant held the position of Vice President and Head of Applied Research at Swiggy. Hemant has extensive experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence as the Senior Vice President and Head of these domains at Citicorp's Global Analytics and Information Management Group. Additionally, Hemant contributed to IBM India Research Lab as a Senior Research Scientist and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Philips Electronics India Limited. Hemant holds a Ph.D. in Speech Technology from EPFL and an M.S. in Speech Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
