João Romão

João Romão has been working in the tech industry since 2010. João started as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Novabase Consulting in 2010. In 2011, they founded Wishareit, a social shopping platform, and served as the Founder until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they were the Founder, Non-Executive Director and CEO of GetSocial.io. During this time, they also served as an Advisor to the Board of CIONET, the leading community of IT executives in Europe. In 2021, they began working as the Principal Product Manager, Growth at OutSystems.

João Romão's education history includes a Product Management Executive Programme from INSEAD in 2022, a Masters of Science (MSc) in Business Administration & Computer Science from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa between 2010 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration & Computer Science from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa between 2006 and 2010.
