TJ Root is an experienced Application Engineer currently with Endeavor 3D since March 2025. Root's extensive background includes a longtime role as an Assistant/Photographer at Getty Images, starting in 2011. Previously, Root contributed as a Senior Applications Engineer at Desktop Metal, focusing on strategic initiatives and application development within the metals business from January 2022 to March 2025. Additional roles include Regional Technical Manager at Enventys Partners, Senior Design and Development Engineer at JR Motorsports, Race Engineer at HScott Motorsports, and Junior Race Engineer at Michael Waltrip Racing. An internship at Deeplocal emphasized the conceptualization, design, and fabrication of innovative projects, while earlier internships at JLG Industries and with the Washington Capitals provided valuable experience in engineering and photography.
