Matt Heiser

Matt Heiser is an experienced educator and football coach with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher and Head Football Coach at Gettysburg Area School District since August 2012, Matt holds several coaching certifications, including NFHS Level 2. Prior to this, Matt worked at South Middleton School District in various teaching and coaching roles, including Head Football Coach from 1998 to 2012. Matt also has coaching certifications from NFHS and USA Football, the latter of which includes leading Headsup Training at Gettysburg High School. Matt earned a Master of Education in Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
