Egil Østhus

Egil Østhus is the CEO and Co-Founder of Unleash. Egil was previously the Product Development Director at VismaRaet PD and the Managing Director for Visma Labs BV. Egil has also been a board member for companies such as Visma Raet BV, Visma Labs Iberia, Visma Labs Slovakia, and Visma Software SRL.

Østhus started their career as a consultant for Telenor Business Solutions and later became a Lecture Assistant at NTNU. In 2005, they became a Project Manager at TANDBERG and then moved to Accenture in 2010 where they worked as a Consultant focused on Next Generation Workplace Technology. In 2011, they joined Get as a Project Manager for next generation digital TV development projects. Egil left Get in 2013 to join Visma where they held several positions until they left in 2021 to start Unleash.

Egil Østhus has a Master of Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics, a Master's from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and a Computer Science degree from UC Santa Barbara. Egil also has certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional, and certification from PMI as a PMP.
