Francisco Arrieta

Francisco Arrieta has extensive work experience in software engineering. Francisco is currently employed at Weave as a Software Engineer, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Brigham Young University from June 2018 to April 2022 in the same role.

Before their university role, Francisco worked at The Salt Lake Tribune from May 2017 to May 2018 as a Web Developer, where they developed a new site using the Arc Publishing platform, improved the ad service and page load speed, and implemented a subscription paywall that boosted revenue.

In addition, Francisco worked at Utah State University from August 2015 to May 2017 as a Section Leader, leading computer science labs, providing guidance on code errors, and delivering computer science lessons. Francisco also gained experience as a Software Programmer at the Utah Water Research Lab from May 2015 to May 2017, where they designed and developed software applications, contributed to bug fixes and updates, and oversaw enhancements to existing software systems.

Francisco Arrieta obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Utah State University between the years 2010 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and received a high school diploma from Neuqua Valley H.S. from 2008 to 2010.
