Joel Meriwether

Joel Meriwether's work experience begins with their role as a Bearing Sea - Fishing Boat Manager at Ocean Peace Inc in 2003. Joel then worked as a General Manager at The Paris Restaurant Group from 2006 to 2008.

In 2009, Joel joined Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Associate, where they provided professional audit services to various industries and received high ratings and evaluations. Joel was promoted to Senior Associate in 2010 and continued to deliver audit services to large multinational companies until 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, Joel joined Adaptive Computing as a Corporate Financial Controller and later became the Director of Finance. During their time there, they contributed to the financial operations of the company.

Since 2015, Joel has been working at Weave HQ, starting as the Corporate Financial Controller before becoming the Director of Finance. Joel currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance and has been instrumental in leading the company's financial growth. Joel has overseen the budget, forecast, and financial/operational health of the company. Joel played a key role in leading the company through the public offering process and series of funding rounds, including the IPO. Joel has also been involved in various committees and has contributed to process improvements and system implementations within the company.

Joel Meriwether completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Accounting at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at the same institution from 2009 to 2010.
