Joshua Young

Joshua Young has a diverse work experience ranging from co-founding a drone company to holding various roles in software configuration, product management, and automation engineering. Joshua began their career as a Team Implementation Member at Data Networks in 2007. From 2009 to 2019, they worked at GetWellNetwork in positions such as Associate Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Director of Software Configuration. In 2015, they co-founded District Drones and served as a FAA Certified UAS Pilot. Since 2019, they have been working at Get Well as the VP of Interactive Patient Care and Smart Rooms, as well as the Director of QA Automation Engineering, where they implemented automated testing solutions and nightly smoke testing pipelines for multiple product lines.

Joshua Young attended the University of Delaware from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Management Information Systems with a focus on Information Technology. In 2015, they attended General Assembly for a short duration to specialize in Back End Web Development, specifically in Ruby on Rails. Joshua also holds additional certifications, including the Data Analysis Circuit from General Assembly (obtained in 2018) and the Pragmatic Marketing Certified certification from Pragmatic Marketing (obtained in 2012).
