Doug Casterton

Doug Casterton has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Doug is currently working as the Head of Operational Excellence at GetYourGuide, where they oversee BPO vendor management, customer care platform and applications, workforce management, operational intelligence and reporting, and customer care learning experience.

Previously, Doug was a Business Advisor and Co-Founder at weWFM, where they played a key role in advising the business and co-founding the company. Doug also worked at N26 as the Head of Global Workforce Management, managing global workforce operations from November 2019 to July 2021.

In addition, Doug served as the EMEA Chapter Lead and Executive Advisory Member at GWFM - Chartered Institute of Global Workforce Management, USA, Canada, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, ANZ from October 2020 to March 2021. Doug also held the position of Head of Global Workforce Planning & Scheduling at TripAdvisor from April 2019 to October 2019.

Prior to that, Doug worked as the Head of Tactical Planning & Real-Time at Hastings Direct from October 2016 to April 2019, and as the Head of Contact Centre Planning at BGL Group from September 2015 to August 2016. Doug also served as the Resource Planning Manager at LV= from November 2012 to August 2015.

Before working in the insurance industry, Doug worked in the technology sector as the Director of Strategy at Sikuli from April 2012 to October 2012, and as the Director of Professional Services at SAPIO Asia from October 2011 to March 2012. Overall, Doug Casterton has a wealth of experience in operational excellence, workforce management, and strategic planning.

Doug Casterton attended Notre Dame High School in Norwich from 1994 to 1999. Doug then enrolled at the Singapore Institute of Management from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Business Management.
