Muhammad Furqan Majeed

Muhammad Furqan Majeed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Finance & Accounts Officer at Peshawar Pipe Mills Ltd, where they handled tax compliance, bank dealings, and cash flows. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Chief Accountant at SVA Ruba Electronics, focusing on compliance and control in the South region. During this time, they also gained experience with SAP B1 ERP.

In 2010, Majeed joined Panasonic Middle East & Africa as an Assistant Manager of Finance & Accounts, where they were responsible for financial reporting, payroll analysis, and budget comparisons. Muhammad Furqan then joined Shan Foods Private Limited in 2013 and held various roles, including AM Finance & Accounts, National Sales Controller, and Sr. Manager Export Planning & Logistics. In these positions, they worked on cost analysis, inventory valuation, sales planning, and distribution control.

Most recently, Majeed started working with Getz Pharma in 2022 as the Head of Export Ops & Logistics. In this role, they oversee business operations and logistics in various regions across the world, including South Asia, South East Asia, CIS countries, Africa, Far East, and Europe. Muhammad Furqan'sresponsibilities include developing export logistics strategies, establishing shipment tracking mechanisms, and integrating sales order portals with SAP.

Muhammad Furqan Majeed began their education in 2004 at the University of Peshawar, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Accounting and Finance. Muhammad Furqan successfully completed their degree in 2006.

Continuing their educational journey, Muhammad Furqan Majeed joined the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) in 2008. Muhammad Furqan is currently a finalist for the ACMA degree in Accounting and Business/Management.

In addition to their formal education, Muhammad Furqan Majeed has also obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained certifications in "Acting Decisively" and "Charlene Li on Digital Leadership" from LinkedIn. In February 2021, they received a certification in "Sales Forecasting," and in January 2021, they obtained a certification in "Supply Chain and Operations Management Tips," both also from LinkedIn. Lastly, in December 2020, they acquired a certification in "Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership" from LinkedIn as well.
